Hormonal aging refers to the natural decline in hormone production and regulation as we age, which can impact both physical and cognitive functions. This process can affect various endocrine systems, including the growth hormone, adrenal, ovarian, testicular, and thyroid axes. These changes can contribute to declines in muscle mass, bone density, energy levels and cognitive function.  In this session we'll get a greater understanding of this process and learn how to stay balanced!

MBMF Mindfulness for Stress Management
Feb 18  |  11:30am - 12:30pm  |  Building 20 Buckeye Room

Stress management and mindfulness are interconnected practices that can significantly improve mental and physical well-being. Here you will receive a closer look at both concepts and how to practice them in your everyday life. Stress management involves using various techniques and strategies to control and reduce stress levels. Mindfulness is the practice of being present and fully engaged in the current moment, without judgment. It involves paying attention to your thoughts, feelings, and sensations as they arise. By practicing these techniques regularly, you can build resilience to stress and develop a more mindful approach to life.
