RULES AND ELIGIBILITY
Unless otherwise stated, there is no monetary entry fee and no purchase necessary to participate in MWR hosted competitions, drawings or prize promotions on the Defense Supply Center Richmond installation. Unless otherwise stated, only one entry will be accepted per person; multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. If the competition, drawing or prize promotion is sponsored by a commercial entity no federal or Department of Department of Defense (DoD) endorsement is implied. By entering into a competition, drawing or prize promotion, your email address and phone number will only be used for the purposes of the MWR event and notification, and will not be released nor sold to 3rd party entities.
a. ELIGIBILITY: Authorized MWR patrons (see AR 215-1, Chapter 7), 18 years and older, can enter to win in prize giveaways. Authorized patrons include Active Duty military, DoD civilian employees, DoD contractors, Retirees, and members of the Guard or Reserve. Family members of the above groups with a military/Government ID card are also authorized users. Individuals engaged in the development and implementation or direct execution of a promotion are not eligible to participate.
b. WINNERS’ LIST: Winners’ names will be announced in a public forum, such as on MWR social media channels and DefenseMWR.com.
c. ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZE: Winners will be notified by MWR Marketing and winners have 10 business days to collect their prize or the prize will be forfeited. Prizes do not imply endorsement by the DoD, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or any other party.
d. MWR reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time. MWR reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value during a promotion.
e. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Participants agree to hold harmless MWR for any liability of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in a promotion or acceptance/misuse or nonuse of the prizes awarded. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in an MWR promotion or use or redemption of any prize. DoD and DLA are not responsible for any defective prizes. By accepting a prize, the winner grants the Promotional Entities the right to use winner’s name for purposes of advertising in any and all media, review or approval, without compensation, unless prohibited by law. MWR is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or in the announcement of prizes. MWR will not be held responsible for entries that may be lost in transit, undelivered, delayed or illegible entries. MWR reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with an entry process and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently; to modify or suspend the sweepstakes/contest/promotion; or to terminate the sweepstakes /contest/promotion and conduct a random drawing using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures.
