Shawn graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School, also Eastland Career Center. He left Ohio to go to college in Colorado, where he learned and developed a passion for all natural and sustainable food while working at Whole Foods. He has worked in many restaurants or café settings for the last 17 years, including McCormick and Schmick's, Columbus Fish Market, Abercrombie and Fitch, and was the Sous Chef at Otterbein University for the last two years before becoming the Chef Manager here at Café 20. His Vision for Café 20 is to bring excitement to food, introduce new flavors, and take everyday flavors into a more exciting atmosphere. His love for food and thirst to learn new and exciting flavors is what drives him everyday.  He is married, has 2 step-kids and 2 young kids who drive him to be better everyday.  “You’re only as good as you’re last meal”
